The Dragon Boat Festival was celebrated in Reno on Sunday, though the official date falls on Monday.
The event, hosted by the Asian Community Development Council and the Organization of Asian Nevada, showcased traditional dragon boat races, cultural performances, and a variety of activities.
Attendees enjoyed an Asian lunch and received rice dumpling gift bags.
Organizers highlighted that the festival embodies the pursuit of freedom and liberty, while also honoring community spirit, culture, teamwork, and perseverance.
