EAGAN, Minn. – Seated against a backdrop of his football memorabilia, Justin Jefferson shared his monumental achievement with the world.
The time has finally come — the deal I have been waiting for since I was a little kid," he began in a video message posted at 8:18 a.m. (CT) today, symbolically matching his No. 18 Vikings jersey. Reflecting on his journey, Jefferson acknowledged those who doubted him in high school and during the 2020 NFL Draft, but emphasized the importance of those who believed in him.

Jefferson's career stats are impressive, with 392 receptions for 5,899 yards and 30 touchdowns, ranking him among the franchise's top performers. Since 2020, he ranks sixth in receptions, second in yards, and tied for 11th in touchdown catches, despite missing seven games in 2023. He has maintained a streak of four consecutive seasons with at least 1,000 receiving yards, joining an elite group of NFL players.
Jefferson's accolades include an ESPY for his one-handed catch at Buffalo, a No. 2 ranking in the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2023, and membership in the Madden 99 Club. He will also be featured in Netflix's Receiver docuseries.
Selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Jefferson has played in 60 career games (57 starts), totaling 100-plus receiving yards in 29 games.
