WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club announced today that they have signed defenseman Dylan Coghlan to a one-year, two-way contract extension, with an NHL average annual value of $775,000.
Coghlan, 26, appeared in one game for the Hurricanes last season. The Duncan, B.C. native also played 61 games for the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds during the 2023-24 season, where he registered 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) and accumulated 40 penalty minutes.
Throughout his NHL career, Coghlan has played 106 games for the Carolina Hurricanes and the Vegas Golden Knights, recording 22 points (6 goals, 16 assists) and 22 penalty minutes. In the AHL, he has notched 108 points (44 goals, 64 assists) and 80 penalty minutes over 192 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds and the Chicago Wolves.
