Man in His 60s Dies at Dublin Airport, Police Confirm
A man has died at Dublin Airport, Irish police (An Garda SÃochána) have confirmed.
Authorities and emergency services responded to an “incident” at the airport shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday, 17 November. The man, aged in his 60s, was later pronounced dead. Police stated that a file is being prepared for the coroner.
On the day of the incident, An Garda SÃochána posted on X (formerly Twitter) warning that traffic in the area might be disrupted due to their presence at the scene.
Traffic Update Dublin: Gardaà at Dublin Airport are currently at the scene of an ongoing incident and wish to advise that traffic in the area is affected,” the post stated, adding, “Motorists are advised to expect delays.”
The posts have since been removed from social media.
