Today on Pinstripe Alley - 12/18/24

The will-they/won’t-they phase with the Yankees and Cody Bellinger is over: New York and Chicago were able to come to terms on a deal on Tuesday that brought the former MVP to the Bronx. With Bellinger in place in center field now, the team has its starting outfield set and can now tunnel in on finishing up their piecemeal infield. There’s still a host of ways they could finish things out, but the lineup is finally starting to shape up.

While the team readjusts for their next target, we’ve got you covered with some more articles to peruse. The Bellinger deal is still front and center, with John dipping into the comments section for your reaction to the deal as well as hosting a poll for all of you lurkers to contribute to, and Peter examines the hit to the Yankees’ payroll and how this deal will impact their goals to finish up the roster. In-between them, Sam pitches one such idea with a trade target on Texas’ Nathaniel Lowe.
