ALLY MCCOIST AND GRAEME SOUNESS HONOURED IN KING'S BIRTHDAY AWARDS

Rangers legends Ally McCoist and Graeme Souness have been honoured by His Majesty The King in the Birthday Honours list.

McCoist, the club’s all-time top scorer, has been awarded an OBE for his contributions to football and broadcasting. Souness, who managed the club from 1986 to 1991 and brought about a period of transformative success, receives a CBE for his services to football and charity.

Rangers Chairman, John Bennett, stated: “On behalf of the club, I extend my warmest congratulations to both Ally and Graeme. Both are iconic figures in Rangers' history. Ally, our greatest ever goalscorer, also guided the club through challenging times as a manager, and his deep knowledge and personality have made him a media success.

Graeme was instrumental in the 1980s in restoring our club to sustained success and is highly revered by the Rangers community.

His charitable work with DEBRA is remarkable and a testament to Graeme’s incredible dedication.

We look forward to welcoming both Ally and Graeme back to Ibrox in the new season
