Jennifer Lawrence is preparing to welcome her second child.
A representative for the Oscar-winning actress confirmed the pregnancy to *Vogue* on Sunday.
Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, an art gallery director, are already parents to their son, Cy, who was born in 2022. The couple tied the knot in 2019.
In a 2022 interview with *Vogue*, following the birth of her son, Lawrence shared her thoughts on motherhood, admitting it can be "scary" to discuss because the experience is unique for everyone.
“Thankfully, I had so many friends who were honest with me, saying, ‘It’s scary. You might not connect immediately. You might not fall in love right away.’ So I felt prepared to be forgiving of myself,” she explained.
Lawrence also revealed that after Cy was born, she felt a profound shift: "The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my life had started over. It was like, ‘Now is day one of my life.’”
Reflecting on her love for her family, she added, “I was just so in love. My heart has expanded in ways I didn’t expect. That includes my husband too.”
