Jodie Turner-Smith was a sight to see at last night’s premiere of The Agency in New York City.
The actor walked the bright red carpet at the Museum of Modern Art in a striking cerulean gown by Burberry. The custom dress, in luxurious velvet, was crafted in France using old looms from the 1920s. It features an electric blue jacquard pattern over a matte black base, and for the silhouette, a halterneck strap and slouchy neckline that plunged down deep into Turner-Smith’s abdomen. The skirt—which is pulled into a knot and creates a flowing train on one side—pooled around the Independent star’s pointy black heels. The all-over rose motif of the gown is a reference to the English rose that has been heavily referenced since creative director Daniel Lee’s debut collection for the fashion house.
