Indiana man pardoned by Trump for Jan. 6 riot fatally shot by deputy during arrest

 An Indiana man who was recently pardoned by former President Donald Trump for his involvement in the January 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot was shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy during a traffic stop.



According to Indiana State Police, the incident occurred just after 4 p.m. on Sunday when a Jasper County Sheriff’s deputy pulled over 42-year-old Matthew Huttle of Hobart.

Authorities stated that Huttle resisted arrest and began struggling with the deputy before the fatal shooting.
